Worldwide Presence

Through our global network, we are able to garner experience quickly as we expand into new research areas.

Clinical Expertise
Clinical development in less common diseases requires highly specialized expertise and experience. Aspreva's clinical development team uses its significant experience to address all aspects of complex Clinical Development, execution and regulatory approval.

Product and Medical Affairs Expertise
Commercialization for less common diseases differs significantly from traditional pharmaceutical marketing. In most cases prevalence and incidence data are not well defined, treatment algorithms do not exist, and there are often no formally approved products for the target indication.

Through the execution of core pharmaceutical product strategy functions at each stage of the product life cycle, Aspreva helps our partners achieve indication-specific market introduction, faster market penetration, earlier time to peak sales, significant incremental sales and patent life extension.

Aspreva's product management and medical affairs teams have a wealth of cross-functional, disease, business and market expertise. Their extensive experience gained in large pharmaceutical companies along with their entrepreneurial approach, allows for a strategic and specialized approach to developing new indications for people living with less common diseases. Aspreva's worldwide locations and presence in the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Canada ensures a truly global approach to bringing new medicines to market for the benefit of patients worldwide.

Track Record of Achieving Milestones
In July 2003, Aspreva entered into an indication partnership agreement with F. Hoffmann-La Roche to develop autoimmune indications for their blockbuster transplant drug, CellCept. Since the initiation of our partnership, Aspreva has managed the clinical development of three indications, two of which are now in Phase III clinical trials. "Aspreva's unique partnering strategy and the unparalleled experience of our team, is leading the way in a new era of pharmaceutical partnering - we are changing the way in which drugs are developed."
